Flow field analysis and computation of the fixed damping orifice of the servo valve

This paper constructs the three-dimensional mathematical model of the internal flow field of the fixed damping orifice by using computational fluid software. It simulates the internal flow of the fixed damping orifice by adopting the standard k-ε turbulence model, and analyzes the influence of the fixed damping orifice's parameters on such fluid flow characteristics, as the velocity, the pressure, the flow rate, the power loss and so on. The result indicates that the diameter, the length and the inner angle of the fixed damping orifice has a great influence on the internal flow field, in the end concluding the best matching parameters of the fixed damping orifice through the analysis and computation.
