A Short Introduction to Data Mining and Its Applications

With the rapid growth of data mining technologies and data mining tools, data mining will be applied more widely in various areas. In this paper we will introduce some models and solutions of data mining, especially we place more emphasizes on the applications of the associated rules and solutions of data mining in e-commerce.
