An Approach of Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation on Supporting Capacity of Regional Science and Technology with Case Study of Chongqing

The regional economic development is promoted mainly by the innovation and progress of science and technology, which is up to supporting capacity of regional science and technology (SCRST). This paper discusses and defines SCRST, which finds that the composing system of SCRST is decided by system guarantee, resource supply and force of transformation. Then, a fuzzy comprehensive model is set up to evaluate SCRST with a case study of application to Chongqing. These research conclusions are inferable for making regional policy of science and technology.
