Evaluation of the Two-Dimensional Temperature Field and Instability of a Dual-Jet DC Arc Plasma Based on the Image Chain Coding Technique

Image contour extraction and chain coding technique are introduced to evaluate the two-dimensional temperature fields and instabilities of the dual-jet dc arc thermal plasmas. The experimental results show that the jet fluctuation plays a major role in the instability of the discharges.
