Effectiveness of photocatalytic water purification processes in regenerating the recovery liquid from nickel electroplating wastewater

Three photochemical catalysis water treatment processes that combined by H
2
O
2
, AC, O
3
with small current corrugated plating are studied in this paper. The results show that each process has a pretty high COD removal rate, especially the UV/H
2
O
2
/AC process whose removal rate reaches 83.6%. At the same time, the clad layer of the process UV/H
2
O
2
/AC has a good quality, and the treated water can be used directly in the bright plating technique in theory.
