Study on biological characteristics of five marine Fungi in Loculoascomycetes

effected on the growth rate of five marine fungi in Loculoascomycetes, such as Phaeosphaeria neomaritima, Phaeosphaeria orae-maris, Massarina acrostichi, Massariosphaeria thurgoviensis and Massariosphaeria typhicola were studied. The results showed that all five species could grow at 15°C - 25°C, but Phaeosphaeria orae-maris, Massariosphaeria thurgoviensis and Phaeosphaeria neomaritima could not grow normally at 35°C. As for the salinity tolerence, the growth of Massarina acrostichi could adapt to high temperature and high salinity and Phaeosphaeria neomaritima could grow at any salinity, while Massariosphaeria typhicola could grow well only at lower salinity, and the growth trends of the other two species Phaeosphaeria orae-maris and Massariosphaeria thurgoviensis were reduced with the increase of salinity.
