Use of satellite technology

Using satellite technology as a delivery method for education of a nontraditional nature has emerged in the last ten years and will continue into the mid-nineties. Current usages are examined, future use is forecast. The focus is on the IEEE experience and how it is meeting the needs of lifelong learning of the engineer.
