The Performance of the CO2 absorption on Li2ZrO3

Respectively use Micron-Tetragonal ZrO
₂
, doped with 2.5mol% Y
₂
O
₃
of Micron-Tetragonal ZrO
₂
and doped with 5.0mol% Y
₂
O
₃
of Micron-Tetragonal ZrO
₂
as raw materials, prepared by high temperature solid state reaction, we produced the Lithium Zirconate (Li
₂
ZrO
₃
), which can directly absorb CO
₂
at a temperature between 450°C and 650°C. In order to study the morphology, structure and the performance of CO
₂
absorption of the Li
₂
ZrO
₃
materials, we respectively use the method of scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray powder diffractometer (XRD) and thermogravimetric analyzer (TG) to analysis it. The results showed that the addition of Y element in ZrO
₂
can improve the ability of the CO
₂
absorption.
