One-dimensional block adaptive IIR filters

We present the block implementation of adaptive infinite impulse response filters based on least-mean-square algorithm and output-error formulation. This approach leads to a reduction in overall computational complexity and to a fast implementation involving parallel processors or serial processors and fast Fourier transform techniques. Computer simulations are also provided to demonstrate the practical applications of the proposed adaptive filters.
