40-Gbit/s RZ-DPSK wavelength conversion using four-wave mixing in a quantum dot SOA

We demonstrate, for the first time, all-optical wavelength conversion of 40-Gbit/s RZ-DPSK signal using four-wave mixing in a quantum dot semiconductor optical amplifier. We achieved error-free operations with high conversion performances.
