Application of tabu-algorithm-based possibility prediction in edge finding

Edge finding has been a difficult and important task in image processing. The current edge-finding algorithm (e.g. K_L transformation, Sobel grads edge finding, model matching) are vulnerable to noise or need too much computation resource, which are not suitable for real-time application. Recently emerged intelligent adaptive algorithms, such as the Tabu algorithm and genetic algorithm have improved the performance and efficiency. This paper will mainly introduce the application of Tabu algorithm in edge finding.
