Transient Plasma Fuel–Air Ignition

Transient plasma ignition, a method of fuel-air ignition involving streamer discharges produced by nanosecond high-voltage pulses, is attractive, and that it reduces ignition delay, increases the burning rate, and can ignite leaner mixtures compared with the traditional spark ignition.
