Effect of slot on radiation characteristics of rectangular dielectric resonator antenna

This paper presents the effect of slot on radiation characteristics of an aperture-coupled rectangular dielectric resonator antenna, resonating at 18 GHz. The coupling slot is placed at an offset from the center and the width of the slot is varied from the corner to the center of the DRA. Analysis is made from the results obtained from the simulations.
