The Approximation of a Crank-Nicolson Scheme for the Stochastic Age-structured Population System

In this paper we prove the convergence of stochastic age-structured population system. A linearized version of the implicit Crank-Nicolson is considered for the approximation of the solution to the stochastic age-structured population system. The noise is a real standard Wiener process and approximated by using the generalized L

-projection operator. Optimal strong convergence error estimates in the L
₂
norm are obtained.
