Mechanical properties of ferroelectric 180 degree domain structure under different strain rates

Dynamic mechanical properties of domain structure in BaTiO
₃
nano-film are investigated using molecular dynamics simulation method based on a shell model. The evolution of the 180 degree domain structure in BaTiO
₃
nano-films is simulated under different strain rates. Stress-strain curves of the BaTiO
₃
nano-film under different strain rates are obtained. The strain rate effect is not found in the BaTiO
₃
nano-film without lattice defect.
