On the modeling of ground vehicle attitude control

The intent of this paper is to extend previous research, and model a full four corner (three dimensional) ground vehicle configuration. Furthermore, we plan to show that the input to the vehicle system can be decomposed into disturbances resulting from "the driver" and disturbances attributable to the "roadway" on the vehicle system. In the introduction, a review of prior work is made and the detailed goals of the paper are outlined. The modal coordinate structure is developed and the experimental data acquisition method reviewed. The identification of the vehicle system using the experimentally acquired data for input to the analysis is summarized. The input signals from the driver of the vehicle are commented.
