Colloidal quantum dot based photonic devices

In this paper photonic devices incorporating colloidal quantum dots are demonstrated. One-dimensional microcavity structure are fabricated using a combination of low temperature plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition and spin coating. Enhancement in spontaneous emission from the CdSe/ZnS core/shell QDs embedded in the microcavity is demonstrated through steady state and time resolved luminescence measurements.
