Fabrication and characterizations of multiferroic super-lattice thin films BaTiO3/BaFeO3

Multiferroic super-lattice thin films of BaFeO
3
/BaTaO
3
were fabricated by the pulsed laser deposition method for the first time. X-ray diffraction and dielectric hysteresis measurements were carried out at room temperature. Temperature dependences of dielectric constant, magnetization and second harmonic generation intensities were also measured. Ferroelectricity and weak ferromagnetism were confirmed at room temperature.
