Research on Innovation Orientation Outcomes

The existing research on innovation has discussed factors that affect innovations such as rate, speed and benefits. Recently, research has focused on a typical innovation: a system-based, firm-wide orientation innovation. This conception is deemed as a broader perspective, and needs understanding outcomes of innovation, both positive and negative. This paper develops a framework of outcomes of an innovation orientation based on grounded theory. The results provide guidance to firm practitioners and avenues for further study for academics.
