Research of Data Model of SCORM Run-time Environment

SCORM is a set of courseware standards of E-Learning from the United States, which have significant impact at the international level. The description of SCORM Data Model is abstract, it is difficult to understand and master for ordinary users and developers. Based on a deep research on SCORM RTE (Run-Time Environment) model, a detecting procedure of Data Model is established by JavaScript and the logical performance of SCORM Data Model is observed on the Moodle platform, then the interactive discipline between Learning Management System and SCORM Data Model is displayed directly, and the application character of data parameters are described detailed. All of these will be a great help for designing a Learning Management System or developing a network courseware by using SCORM criterion.
