Study of Wireless Power Transfer System Through Strongly Coupled Resonances

Wireless Power Transmission ( WPT) based on strongly coupled resonances can be achieved medium-range distance. In this paper, a system of wireless power transmission based on strong-coupling resonances is presented. We analyse the strongly coupled model of the system and investigate the efficiency of the resonator's receiving coils with characteristics of the distance and the extreme problems experimentally. Theoretical and experimental results show that the largest energy transfer takes place in two resonators coupling resonance; If the system parameters and transfer distance are fixed, the transfer efficiency will change with the load, and a maximum value will be obtained.
