Economic analysis of supplying an electro village using alternative electrical power sources

Rural electrification in Kenya is a major concern to all players contributing to national development. Research investigations have shown that the motivation for electrification in Kenya is very high. To satisfy this growing appetite, data is required on which to assess the implications of a greater domestically based energy policy. This paper presents an economic analysis of a renewable energy-based village electricity supply.
