Modeling and Experimental Analysis of Helical Resonator for Wireless Power Transmission System

In this paper, the principle of wireless power transmission technology based on resonant coupling is discussed. A simplified equivalent circuit modeling for wireless power transmission system is established. A resonator constituted by single-layer helical coils is designed and investigated. Based on experiments, the output load voltage correlated with different distance, driving frequency and disalignment is analyzed. The result shows that output voltage reaches the maximum at a certain distance between transmitter and receiver under the resonant frequency. And experimental result is consistent with the theoretical analysis.
