An innovative transition method to reduce conducted emissions for automotive high side power switch

This paper presents a new technique to charge the gate of a high side power switch. A three constant charge - discharge current steps block is proposed to improve the electromagnetic compatibility. This method is compared with a constant current and a five steps gate charge current by extended simulations.
