Layout of typical tunnel boring machine(TBM) cutterhead and realization by software

The most important technology in the process of designing boring machines is the layout of cutterhead. Based on study of disposing cutters on cutterhead of TBM, this paper proposes a method of disposing cutters and programs a TBM analysis and simulation software. It validates the rationality of the layout of cutterhead by calculating cutterhead's bending moment and non-counterbalance.
