On the exclusionary volume around dyadic Green's function singularity

In solving for the electric field inside an electrically small spherical particle, it is shown that an infinitesimal exclusionary volume around the dyadic Green's function singularity must be used to obtain energy conservation and accurate values for the derived field. This cannot be guaranteed for finite excluded volumes.
