Approximation of mixed potential Green's functions at large distances

For planar microstrip structures, mixed potential Green's functions for a layered dielectric medium are approximated using a series of Hankel functions that represent the surface waves. The approach provides a very rapid and noise-free method to determine the values of the Green's functions at large distances.
