Application of distinct operation modes and control philosophies to permanent magnet synchronous machine

The aim of this work is the analysis of the permanent magnet synchronous machine under several operational modes and control philosophies. The comparative study includes: the ripple and cogging torque, the ripple current, the power factor, the torque magnitude, the levels of voltage and current and step response time.
