Grid looks to smart solutions

There has been an awful lot of rhetoric about smart grid, but depending on who you listen to it can seem to be a disparate concept. A great deal of attention has been lavished on the growth of renewable power but it is shown that without the implementation of a smart grid it will not deliver.
