Electrophoretic mobility and resultant zeta potential of an individual cell analyzed by electrophoretic coulter method

In this study, we demonstrated that our electrophoretic Coulter method is valid for the characterization of zeta potential in sheep's red blood cells as well as polystyrene standard particles, comparing with conventional electrophoretic equipment. This method allows us to analyze the size, number, and zeta potential of an individual cell precisely and simultaneously, which will provide us portable devices in various fields including clinical medicine and food.
