Cooperation between Building Information Modeling and Integrated Project Delivery Method Leads to Paradigm Shift of AEC Industry

The poor performances of AEC industry have revealed the inefficiency of the old paradigm. The occurrence of building information modeling (BIM) and integrated project delivery (IPD) method means great opportunity to change the old paradigm. The paper analyzes why it is necessary for the cooperation between BIM and IPD and how they cooperate together to change the old paradigm.
