Nanostructured porous silicon formation for combustion and explosion processes

The influence of porous silicon structures on processes of combustion and explosion have been investigated. The combustion procedure has been observed in the porous silicon layers, formed by anode process, if the specific area has been more 100 m
²
/cm
³
. It has been also found that the intensity of combustion had increased with broadening of specific area of porous silicon and if the latter had been larger 200 m
²
/cm
³
the explosion process had occurred. The time response of development of explosion has been in the microsecond range.
