Analysis of an n-Unit System with 1-Repair Facility which has Down-time

The paper deals with the availability and reliability of a 1-out-of-n:G system with 1-server who is subject to periods of unavailability. Explicit expressions for the Laplace transform of the mean down-time of the system and for the mean time to system failure have been obtained.
