On the use of the whitening filter and optimal intensity summation to produce multi-look SAR images

Presents different summations which are used to produce a multi-look intensity image. These summations are more optimal in terms of radiometric resolution improvement than the classical incoherent summation. Comparisons and results concerning the radiometric resolution and geometrical duality are presented.
