Control of nonlinear motion processes in processing-machines by individual electric drives

Based on the idea of an intelligent single drive (ISD), a new structure of an intelligent drive system (IDS) is discussed. It shows demands on the ISD, problems of event-synchronisation and signal transmission and tools for the description of the IDS.
