Evaluation of human exposure to electromagnetic fields from RFID devices at 13.56 MHz

From the results of the evaluation for the RFID device at 13.56 MHz, the following conclusions could be drawn: Electric and magnetic field strengths for direct measurement at 20 cm which is recommended measurement distance by IEC do not exceed, but magnetic field strength exceeds at distance ≪ 6 cm, and the spatially averaged electric field strength does not exceed the reference level of ICNIRP guideline. In the future, we'll more study other evaluation methods which are induced current measurement and numerical evaluation by the suggested IEC and evaluate for other similar devices such as the commercial EAS, metal detector etc.
