Time-domain response of planar monopole ultra wideband antennas excited by EMPs

In this paper, two kinds of planar monopole excited by UWB pulse are analysed using MOD method. In UWB antenna structure, the thin cylindrical probe is modelled as a thin strip which can be meshed easily by RWG basis functions. Then transient responses of surface current for UWB antennas are obtained.
