Environment Effects of Energy Consumption Structure Based on Comprehensive Grey Correlation Degree: from 1998 to 2006 in China

Based on the grey correlation model and Group-AHP, with the data of China's primary energy consumption varieties, such as coal, petroleum, natural gas and non-thermal power (wind power, hydropower, nuclear power) and the environmental data of the same period, such as industrial wastewater, industrial sulfur dioxide, industrial dust, industrial smoke and industrial solid waste, this paper obtains the results of a single association and integrated evaluation of China's energy consumption structure versus environment, and the comprehensive environmental effects of China's energy consumption structure. The results show that the coal energy has the greatest relational grade versus the environmental indicators, and its comprehensive relational grade is also the largest among the consumption structure versus five pollutant emissions.
