performance criterion is developed via a parameter-dependent Lyapunov approach. Sufficient conditions are presented to design gain-scheduled controllers and state observers to guarantee that the resulting closed-loop system is asymptotically stable with a prescribed H

performance level in terms of parameterized linear matrix inequalities.
