Synthesis and characterization of (Ga1−xZnx)(N1−xOx) and (In1−x−yGaxZny)(N1−yOy) nanotubes for solar water splitting

) nanotubes were synthesized by depositing GaN or InGaN onto ZnO nanowire templates. These nanotubes absorb visible light, have high surface area, and are single-crystalline, making them promising materials for solar water splitting.
