Functional materials on the base of lanthanum chromite

Properties of functional materials on the base of melted high purity lanthanum chromite of composition La
_0,975
Ca
_0,025
CrO
₃
with addition of Y
₂
O
₃
is described. Functions relation of the normal integral radiant emittance and relative density via content of Y
₂
O
₃
, electrical conductivity of the material via temperature are shown. Example of using of the functional material for heater elements is presented. High value of specific surface power and effective radiant emittance allow using of the material as models of blackbody.
