Prediction of nonlinear optical susceptibility of the crystal by chemical formula

Quantitative relation is obtained between possible nonlinear optical susceptibility and refractive index of noncentrosymmetric crystal. Binary oxide with known crystal structure are selected which nonlinear optical susceptibility and refractive index may be most high.
