Abstract:

New coaxial current shunts that cover AC current range from 10 mA to 20 A have been developed. The advantage of new current shunts is a very low frequency dependence up to 30 kHz and very stable DC resistance which makes it possible to use current shunts for very accurate direct measurement of the AC current over the AC voltage drop on the known resistance.
