The Use of Load Flow Programs for Cement Plant Design and Modifications

Load flow is the terminology describing the flow of power, both real and reactive, from sources such as generators and/or utility connections through all of the available paths to the load's consuming energy. Each load flow study calculates the kilowatt and kilovar flows through the various branches of a power system and determines the system operating voltage levels for a specific set of operating conditions. Load flow techniques are used to analyze and correct many commonly encountered electrical cement plant problems.
