User Mobility Mechanism for Seamless Multimedia Service in Home Networks

We propose a user mobility mechanism for providing seamless handover of multimedia service by means of the cache function of a home server (HS) when a user moves from a network device to another device within the home network environment, and analyze the performance of the proposed user mobility mechanism in terms of the latency time for user profile registration and management during handover.
