Noise-Induced Spectral Shifts in Pseudo-Linear Fiber-Optic Communication Systems

Signal and noise interaction mediated by the Kerr effect in fibers produces random pulse central frequency shifts. We show that strong correlation between the signal and noise evolution makes this effect noteworthy even in pseudo-linear systems.
