A Carrier Recovery Approach for ATSC Receivers

This paper presents a method of using the field sync signal to perform carrier recovery for ATSC receivers. This approach ensures a fast, reliable, and accurate receiver carrier frequency and phase recovery even under severely distorted channel conditions.
