The Necessity of Medical Informatics System Developed by Medical Staff

Regarding the handling of information related to the medical field, the admissibility of evidence and probative value of information is the self-responsibility of the medical institution. When the medical institution explains electrical function and operation via a system, the central role is the securing of "authenticity," "readability," and "responsibility." The application of a safe information system is made up of the holistic assortment of "technical performance" and "organizational performance (operation measures)." Technical performance is a mechanism implemented by the system vendor. Contrastingly, organizational performance is the execution of rereading information system content flexibly conforming to operation based in medical institute liability. The combination of these two elements, based in risk analysis, also add and allocate an economical element. "Organizational performance" means that sometimes there will be a difference between the input information and real operations. If this information that is different from actual operation piles up, the difference between information included in the information system and reality will continue to expand. The end result will be information that cannot be used as is, and it will have lost its usability. We have constructed the new medical information system analyzing the existing hospital information system in real time, observing and classifying the information given from various ordering systems and the description from patient records, displaying the patient information at a glance. Physicians used this system predominantly and thus it was very important that these physicians design it, in substantial part. Also the involvement of medical staffs was critical to be able to ensure that the information they can get is the information that they need. Organizing information and displaying it in such a way that the medical treatment process can be seen facilitates the confirmation and revision of abnormal information. Because segmentation could be affixed to information in terms of procedures taking place in the hospitals, not only could abnormal data be made easy to recognize as such, but deficient procedures were made easy to discover. By transmitting information to the appropriate staff member in the appropriate time period, a training effect was achieved. We will present a feature of this newly constructed physician oriented comprehensive medical information system.
