Limitations of the current UWB regulation Towards an unconventional UWB waveform

In this paper, the main limitations due to the current UWB regulation and standardization levels have been raised. As a consequence the induced problems in accessible markets lead to find different innovative solutions. Among them, the unconventional UWB waveform approach seems to be applicable in an imminent future.
