Research on Common-Mode Rejection Quartz Crystal Resonators

The force sensitive characteristic of multi-resonator assembled on one crystal are studied based on analyze of the force sensitive characteristic of AT-cut quartz crystal resonators and the interior vibration wave transmission in crystal. According to the common-mode rejection theory, the resonance frequency of resonators on different places is processed in the means of frequency mixing, and the output is difference frequency compensation ways to eliminate the influence of correlation disturbing factors. The results shown that the force sensitivity coefficient of three-electrode AT-cut quartz crystal resonator in the same base is 1.3 times of that of traditional single-base centered single-electrode resonators. There are two inputs for the same-base four-electrode resonator, and its force sensitivity coefficient is slightly smaller. The stability of the same-base multi-electrode quartz resonators is 10

and relative frequency variation is about plusmn5 ppm in the range of -45 degC to 65 degC.
